Na I don't need sunblock. You can just change my name from Casper to Lobster!

The first race (Late Models) was cut short due to time. Those guys were playing bumper cars instead of racing!

The second race (grand national west series) was a great race. There were some great battles and some good clean racing. They threw a debris caution with 15 to go which make the end really exciting. The top three cars were 3 wide in the corners for about 3 laps before they came to there senses again! It was fun!

Perks of working on the new track are watching dirt mods, legend cars, dwarfs, street stocks, bombers, and YES even pony's runnin around the the clay oval last night. Tonight, we get to watch Drag racing under the lights.

Kerry has to make it in on time, Jr doesnt. Kerry is built for straight speed, and the 8 is built for handling. You'll see.

Jr. finds his way to the front. Qual is one thing and it shows who has motor but driving in the draft is a whole different ball game. Should be an interesting race.

Dirt oval is still my favorite. When I think about Ascot, it still brings a tear to my eye.

My dad and I were talking about that when we were at Irwindale. We missed the true stock's at ascot and the dirt figure 8's. We also missed the cinnamon round donuts! ummmmmmmm.

Cup qualifing is on with Boris on the pole with about 13 more cars to go. Not too shabby for a road racer.

I think you're right, but the rain killed this one. That's gotta' hurt.

That rain delay sucked. It knocked out Waltrip, Said and Mayfield at a minimum from sure starting spots. It really sucked for those guys.

The busch race is over. Shrub won!

Jr. was 14th. Not the showing I think he was hoping for in his first JRM start.
