A little off topic but I have to wonder what is wrong with some people. I woke up this morning and seen that someone had placed Amirican flags on every law in our neighborhood. When I looked there was a realtors add stapled onto the flag covering the stars. Is it me being an uptight wad or is something not right here?

I think I'm with you on this one.

The new PC is up and running. I got the KVM figured out. The mouse acts a little funny on the new PC, but it's OK on the old one. I might have to upgrade. The DSL rig is ordered and should be here in a few days. I can't wait. I've loaded a bunch of our software on it and so far no problems. I have a couple of more to do yet.

Happy 4th to all.

Casper, have fun at Irwindale tonight.

James, I almost forgot. If I have problems with the modem setup for the DSL, are you available?

On the 98 machine, it's fine, but when I switch to the XP, the pointer doesn't move as fast. I have to pick up the mouse and start again if I want to go across the whole screen.

Go to the control panel, switch to classic view ( upper left hand corner) and then click on the mouse icon. There you can select the speed the pointer moves across the screen.

Thanks Scott. Looking forward to getting out there and seeing some good racing.

Glad you are getting the new computer up and working. I am dealing with network issues at home. Got to figure out what is going on!

Right now I am stealing internet from some neighbors who do not have the network secure!

It is good to be a little techy everyonce in a while!

107

That is some dedication. Some of us "white" guys do not do well in those conditions!

Sounds like you got 'er done anyway!

Every year it's nice and cool before the Shootout and just before the Shootout weekend "BINGO". Maybe this year will be different. Nah!

downtown: 107 degrees, building track in middle of desert? It sounds to me you're doing the job Americans won't do.

Casper: Did you stock up on sun block for the Shootout?
