I have a BK2 and a MF2 and I'm thinking about joining the mod buggy and truck classes next season.
The esc in the buggy is rated at 14 turns and the truck is a 5 turn limit.
I was thinking of using a 15 turn double in the buggy and a 13 turn double in the truck.
Does this sound like a good combination?
Also, how do I determine where to set the timing on these motors?

Hi Ron, thanks for asking about our motors.

Those are both good choices and they should work well for your application. One of our team guys runs 15 turns in his buggy, but don't tell anyone. A 13T should be good for your truck, it will give you good bottom end with plenty of top end. As far as the timing goes, they come set at around 12 deg. which works well for most applications. If you're on a small track, with a lot of tight corners, you can turn the timing down for a little more bottom end torque. Right now we are giving an extra set of Infinity brushes with every one of our Checkpoint mods. That's a $10.00 value.

Thanks Scott, I emailed a question on the motors.
All I'm waiting for is the end of the season and of course the funds, then I'll be ready to pull the trigger on this idea.

Well Dawn, that was nice to know I am wanted!

BUT, I am only good for 1 road trip a year, and the

Cactus was it!! I do think since I came to your race,

it's your turn now, so we need you to come to the Shoot-Out!

You've been to lots of Nats, but I don't think you've ever

been to the Shoot-Out!!! And we'd both have lots of time

to sit and "yada yada" !

So, how 'bout it?????

Now Judi, I have been to 2 Shootouts !! Just ask Jimmy... and two years in a row, Sean made the TQ awards.

but..... I very well may try to get to that one.. I know Sean wants to race where neither of us are responsible for anything but ourselves.. LOL

And.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR COMING TO THE CACTUS!!! Your entire crew was wonderful and extremely professional...

As for me and Nats.. yes, I've been to a few... this one in Albuquerque will be my last as an official though... (I said that last years Stock Nats and it came back and bit me in the butt!! LOL) But.. this year, its true..... I won't have any ROAR duties after the end of the year.

woo hoo!! I'll be done!!

I just wanted to Thank Judy and Scott for recently picking me up and say Hi to th Banzai family. My name is Mike Molina and I run onroad...

What can I say about the horsepower it's just awesome!!!!

I have raced 2 times with my banzai power and I tqed 1 race with a win and the next race I qualified 2nd and finished 3rd. Both race were 19 turn still have not tried my stock motors but I know they will be just as good as my 19 turns...

Dawn, it's probably my fault I haven't seen you at the

Shoot-Out. It's always so hot, I usually just pop in and out.

I don't do well in the heat, even though this year I survived

the heat at the Cactus, with help from Casper, " Drink more

water! " Really hope you'll come this year !

Thanks also for the props to our team, they really are a great

group of guys! ( and 1 little girl ). So, I'm planning on seeing

you there, we'll go to the cafe and sit and talk!!

Mike, glad you like the motors! We're gonna change your name

to "King of the A Main" !! Welcome to the team!!

Hey B. James, we'll be at Pegasus this Saturday, you

coming????

I just got an article from Ebi, it's in German so I can't

read it, but there's a great picture of our

Banzai Motor! Wish I could transfer it to here, but I'm not

computer savy! He finished 3rd, with lots of the, shall we

say European favorite motor behind him!!!!!!

Congrat on the promotion Travis! Sorry you won't get to

race on your home track!!
