Morning all. I ran mod truck yesterday, for the first time in a good while and 19T buggy, which I haven't run in about 3 years or so, and had a great time. Both were hooked up pretty good and the track was in good shape. The driver module was a little out of adjustment, , but I'll have it working better next week.

Yeah, I put it in in Happy Hour, and I had tire spin all the way around the track. Pang said when I went down the straight, I left tire marks all the way down until I lifted. It was great.

With a motor like that, sounds like....'NEVER LIFT--START THE DRIFT!!!'
Constant wheel spin huh? Sounds like 'I' NEED one

Hey is this motor umm done?

http://www.dmp-racing.com/king/bonzai.jpg

I noticed one run it got real hot, due to a hung brush. Had to re-cut it (brush was discolored but comm looked fine) now I checked it out again after 3 runs and another brush was discolored, and thats the comm.

Ideas? Its a KD19.

K_King: Is this one of our motors or is it a Trinity KD19?

Did anyone watch the NASCAR race today? Was Junior in the #5 car at the end of the race?

What kind of brushes are you using, what's your gearing (in what), and how long were these 3 runs?

Scott,

Yeah Junior got in the car at the very end after the #5 team fixed the car. I guess Kyle had better things to do and had left the track! He probably was throwing some kind of fit and left.

Bonzai brushes from the shop here at FHR. I can take a pic here in a sec.

Running a 20 tooth in a XXX-CR. Runs are 5 min heat with a 6 min main.

Heres the brush

Greg: Maybe ole Rick felt bad that the little ^#@$#$^ took JR out and asked him to ride around for awhile.

Hey, you should come down and race with us at Pegasus on Sat.

I hope that 25 car doesn't turn into R&D.

Re-cut and brush it with a new set of springs. If the motor got that hot, the springs probably lost their tension.
3 or 4 runs with 767's is about right on a 19T anyways.
