Hey at the last Jimmy race my friend won the Banzia motor in the giveaway stuff, and ran it only for the main! Then ran it one heat in his 1/12scale and it wasnt to hot either time! Put it in his car for the main tonight at an off-road club race and did maybe two or three corners and the motor was gone! One of the winds came off! If you want I can send the arm or the whole motor to you guys and see what happend! Only have seen that happen twice in my life. Thanx

Zack, anything is possible with a machine wound motor. We do not have any control over how it is wound, since that is done in Japan. All we can do is dyno and test each motor. The final test is the track. We will be happy to take care of the problem, but you will have to send in the whole motor.

Scot - I overheated my CO27 when the motor slid forward and the pionion and spur gear mashed. Now the armature rubs on the magnet. I tried the arm in a different can and all is well but no arm works in the over heated can. I gto REALLY HOT!!!!! Did the heat warp the can?

My guess is the magnet dropped. Try and pull the magnet out of the can with your finger or tapping it on a table. Hot enough to warp is REALLY hot. The arm would have smoked for sure before that happens.

The can ended up being warped a bit towards the top and a VERY slight attitude adjustment in the vise did the trick.
