GP/Checkpoint are not releasing the money motor (fixed endbell can/endbell and machine wound arm) for others to use. The alum endbell is a checkpoint only endbell. All the non checkpoint mods come with the platic endbell as well. The plastic endbell works great though and there are not really any drawbacks from using plastic over alum. There is even a lesser chance of shorting out the motor with plastic.

CO27 in a MF2 I run 17-18/86. tight tracks I run 17 and most everywhere else I run an 18.

There are only a couple motor companies that are official

CP OEM account holders, we are one of them. All other companies are using

CP wound motors and putting their stickers over them. At this

time, Checkpoint is only giving us the composite end-bells to use.

We are quite happy with these end-bells, as Casper stated, we

don't have any "shorting" from the end-bells. We have also seen

CP factory drivers using the composite end-bells too! There isn't

any performance enhancement for either motor style. We were given

the opportunity to do pre-production testing of the aluminum end-bell

so we know that they perform the same. We also do all our own

winding of the armatures. Hope that clears things up for anybody

else with questions.!!

Also, on the CP 19 turn Money motors, only stores can get them, so

if someone is advertising them, they did NOT get them from CP. They

are NOT available to OEM companies yet.

Good job Casper! Just thought I'd add a few details!

I tried to stand in for a while but I was certain you would be here to fill in the blanks!
