Banzai will wind just about anything you want! I have a 15X4 and a 12X6!!!!!

That is what happens when you do everything in house. You have control over you product and can meet customer requests. They have the wire on hand, they HAND wind the arms, (no machines involved other then a hand crank!) They then WELD the tabs (no one else in the industry welds anymore and welding IS BETTER), Then on to hand dipping the arm in epoxy, baking then balancing the arm on a custom dynamic arm balancer. Everything is done in house. No out sourcing! Find another company that does all that!

(Did I get all the steps right Mom?)

You got it all, Casper!! We have NEVER used any

other winder. Always been Jason and Scott ! And we are not "tuners" of mod

motors! I'm

beginning to dislike that word!! This is one reason the "big guy" at

CP allowed us to be an official OEM company for the CP tear-downs!

If you are using another companies CP mods, they are required to

post that CheckPoint is used with PERMISSION if they have "relabeled"

the mods to their own label! We use it "with" permission, and post it,

because we are an official OEM company.

CheckPoint is a copyrighted name. Hope that all made sense!!

I wanted to touch on the high points of inhouse motor winding! Bottom line is you get the best motors anywhere!

Gosh. I thought I was special with my 12X6 wind. It seems like all these old timers are coming in here talking about how they used to run them back in the day! I have to admit I was using X5 and X6 winds about 8 years ago now in my 4wd. That 12X6 at HRH is one mean motor. I had motor on guys running 10X1's and lower winds. I had runtime to boot and I had traction. Too bad the brain did not work so well. Brain farts kept me out of the main (and some other small mechanical issues) at the Reedy. Those CP mods are great! Cut the motor once all weekend! (used the same brushes that LAST FOREVER!)

PS. I think I have approval for Racing Sunday. I think I will have a very long honey-do-list to get through on Sat but it wil be worth it to get to the track to see all you guys again! Stk buggy and Stk truck for me. I may be influenced to run 19T truck if you guys want to get a class together. I think between Ryan, Keith, Myself, (bob J.?) and couple SD guys we should have a class if you want. Stk truck is fun as well!

I might be talked into it, but don't know if I can handle the carnage I will dish out on my truck. After all I haven't touched it since October....

You need to put a cycle on those packs before Sunday! We will also need to knock off all the old dirt off the car!

Come on, it would be nice to see our sponsors out at a club race having some fun! I'm game for 2 wheel, either stock or 19T.

B.James is trying to get me down there Sunday too. I need some track time before the Cactus, but I'll have to think about it.

Tuners I hate that word.

Casper, I don't know if I ever told you this or not, but first mod motor was a Twister 14x6. Tons of power and efficient as can be for those high capacity 1400 mah batteries we had.
