Well, I guess I meant focus on "how" we're going, and

what we need to do to "go", instead of focusing on "not"

going!

Guess that doesn't make much sense either, but

I get it!!!!!!!!!

Just trying to keep up on the details of the Cactus,

the official entry form is coming in Car Action magazine.

You must use that entry form, and include your PT #'s

also. No entries accepted before 1-23-07.

Also, they are offering a refund of entry fees if you volunteer

to help at the race, track maintenance etc. This will be given

with their approval only.

Heard from Vanair, he will also be attending!

Casper - I am hearing of people upgrading the rear ends and stearing racks of their BK2 to the CR. Do you see any value here rather than just purchasing a new CR kit?

Yes just read it. Lease was up and they couldnt come to terms with town. They wouldnt have to force racers to buy their magazine if they were more racer oriented. With crappy artticles on radio shack cars it is hard to keep the racing seen interested. It's more of a magazine for bashers and they dont stay around very long.

I think they want the magazine version of the entry to keep people from pre entering. I think it is there attempt to make it fair for all to get into this race since it has sold out so fast in past years. We will see if it works?

James-- Personally I still like the BK2. IF you upgrade you get to keep your graphite chassis and front end. It will cost you over $100 to do the rear end change if you make all the changes. I would stick with the BK2 until you wear it out. The EA3 material is supposed to be a lot better in the newer kits as they fixed the material issue with the first release so the EA3 in the CR kit may be ok but I think this is why guys were converting. I got one of the first CR kits and did not like the EA3 material and broke a couple front arms and the servo nipple right away. (within first 2 runs!) I switched the car over to graphite as much as I could. Bottom like stick with the BK2. It is a great car and works as good if not better then the CR IMO.
