I know, but I like to get my calendar all in order

so I know where I'm going and when!!

Hey, I bet Scott would like a 19t truck class for "Old Dudes",

that would be neat!

I also forgot to mention it was nice to see the guys from

San Diego come to the race. Downtown, you should have

come up!!

Hey Judi --

It was nice to see you at SoCal!! I don't think I've ever seen you there before. My Banzai 19T put me in the Mod Buggy Main (It was a rocket and I thank Casper for getting it ready for me!!!!) but I didn't make it down on Sunday for the mains due to me not having fun. This is not my profession. It's something I choose to do to have fun. When I'm not having fun it's best to pull the plug.

I hope to compete in next season's JBRL with my 10 year old son!!! He'd be a rookie (He's an INT at SoCal) but we're confident as long as we have Banzai Power!!

See ya soon.

Lets pray that the Losi Race is NOT in Vegas. I have been to lots of electric and gas tracks, and it is by far the most slippery, rough, and rutted track out there. If I could give anyone advice, just don't come down to Vegas to come to this track.

We are celebrating our 10th Anniversary!!

Banzai is now 10 years old and we are offering some great

specials, trying to keep with the "10" theme.

Just some trivia, The Ranch Pit Shop was the first store to

carry our products! Charlie Barnes was our first really sponsored

driver!! And he's still with us, even though he is a race director

now and graduate and teacher!! Our first mod motors were the

Kinwald grey tear-downs, and stocks were the old round, non-rebuildable,

closed end-bells ( for you nubees!). Race Prep "H' cuts were the

brushes to have!! Alan Losi actually worked at the Ranch and was

a good "gas" truck racer!!!!!

It's been a great 10 years, and we hope many more!

Thanks to all our stores, customers and team drivers!

We will be offering more specials, so keep an eye on the web-site!

Judi

P.S. Christmas lights are up on the site!! Love the lights!!

Thanks! It was great to see you as well.

Pics are up here:http://www.jbphotography.smugmug.com...96/2/115098983

I didn't do quite as well as I would have liked (I haven't been racing all that much recently), but I had a great time. I got 5th and 5th in Mod and 19t buggy.
I loved the layout, even though it wasn't typical of the supercross.

WOW ten years??? Right after the Norrca Onroad Nats in '96 is when Judi and Scott gave me a chance and been sportin' da "Tagz" ever since. So many hours testing winds...my fav of all time...the 12x6!!! That was the secret weapon in my onroad arenal.
To Banzai's Credit:
'97 Norrca Nevada state champs 2nd Expt. Stock(with the H cut's)
'97 Norrca Nats 4th place Mod Touring
'99 HPI Worlds 1st place Expt. Touring
'00 HPI Words 5th Place Pro Modified

I will never forget Judi and Scott's kindess and support all these years. Other then Hitec, Banzai is my oldest sponsor, and will continue to run Banzai through the rest of my RC career!

Congrats on the 10 years!!!! Glad to know I was one of your customers the first year you were out and 10 years later I am still a customer. Banzai was my last motor when I got out and first motor when I returned. Glad your still here and kicken A.... er butt.

Yes Alan Losi was working at the Pit shop on the sales floor. Do you remember Brian? He was there for years. I'll keep an eye on the web sight for great deals.

Jason, Nice meeting you and thanks for the great pictures. You got a shot of my car and it was going in the right direction Thanks for sharing these with us.

Congrats again Scot, Judi and Jason.

Yes James, you are an original customer!!

This is really long ago, but our first BIG win was the

1997 Mod Nats with Greg Deganti (spelling?) and it

was his first! He went on to become full factory, and

I think he still races 1/8 scale? Not sure. Haven't seen

him in a few years. Love this trivia stuff!!

Greg Degani does currently race 1/8 gas. In 2002 he won the 1/8 WORLD Championships in Uruguay and finished 9th in 2006. Thats pretty dang good considering it is arguably the most competitive RC race ever and is only held once every 2 years...
