There were 24 heats at the SuperCross, all electric.

They didn't get started until 10:30 this morning, so I don't think

we'll know much tonight as they won't get done until late.

I think most of the team is in at least 1 A-Main. Everyone

is really having a good time, just a fun race!! And free hamburgers

for all!! Tomorrow the mains. Cavalieri is there, Pillars, Hartson,

Truhe, that's all I can think of right now.

Motors are running strong, Casper is turning into quite the "motor guru",

he had a "great" teacher!! We appreciate his help, as we didn't

get there until late, 3 hours of traffic!!!!!! And we can't be there

tomorrow. Track was REALLY slick, NO, and I mean NO, traction!!

That's all I know for now!!

Well, I had traction, it makes it that much easier to break traction so you can slide the corners real nice . 19t was fast, stock was too. I need to improve on my 19t runs and get a good qualifer in, since my stock run was faster than my 19t run. Going to try to tune my stock to as good as I can get it, qualified 8th overall with my "close to flawless" run, 29.4-30.3 (very consistent, but not super fast).

From the heat sheets I saw, consistent is the name

of the game! Fast and crashin' just won't do it!

Hope everyone gets home safe tonight without all the traffic.

We took a different freeway home and missed all the

construction, etc. I'll be working the cell phones tomorrow to get

updates! I know how you all like me to bug you

on the cell!!

Quick Note, I see Roar has decided NOT to make

a decision on going to 4 cell racing until after 2007.

Good move for a change!

Killer89, glad to see you made it home safe!

Had a great time at the supercross and was glad to finally meet most of you. Though I didnt do very well I did enjoy helping the kids around me with their cars. I have been Re-bitten by the RC bug and will be a regular at races from here on out.

Thanks Casper for helping me with my motor! Got it back in like new condition.

No problem James. Glad to do it. Also thanks again for turn marshalling for me as I got my cars ready for my near back to back to back runs!

Not a bad weekend.

Team Banzai/Slingshot drivers Ryan Dunford and Casper went 1-2 in stock buggy. The Banzai Blue stockers with the new EP4200 cells proved to be the ticket with a dominating performance in this tough class. Ryan James showed us how to do it on qualifying with the TQ spot also running Banzai motors with Slingshot power.

Speaking of Ryan James he also got 1st in 19T buggy!

Ryan Dunford showed Banzai/Slingshot Power was #1 using a C2 based (chrome can) 19T motor and EP4200 batteries to TQ the 19T truck class by over 8 seconds! He finshed 2nd after having "issues" with back markers in the main. Johnny S squeezed by in 3rd running Banzai motors and Casper finished 4th after a last lap "bobble"

There were other great showings by Banzai and Slingshot customers in this race. Please post your results. I know Van Air was in 2 mod mains and I think he finished 3rd in truck. It was a great race after a rough start but he kept grinding and made up a ton of ground with his Banzai CP mod motor moving his truck around the track.

Thanks once again to Scott, Judi and Jason for consistantly supplying all of us wtih all the power one could ask for! It was a great weekend of racing and a great way to send off '06. '07 here we come!

For those that are interested in trying out the lastest and greatest cell to hit the market. Slingshot Batteries has the new EP 4200 batteries matched and in stock. These get new cells have great voltage and ultra low internal resistance. Best of all they are durable. You will still treat them like the lastest IB cells for charging but these cells have proven to keep there peak performance longer then other cells currently on the market. Ultra low internal resistance make these cells ideal for stock and 19T racing as they will give you that extra punch you have been looking for. Couple these new batteries with some super fast Banzai tuned stock or 19T motors and you will let your competition eat your dust. 4200mah also means you have runtime to spare which also make these cells incredible for mod racing. The increased durability of these cells, mean you will get more top performance runs out of them until they become practice packs which means more bang for you buck.

The Singshot web site should be fully functioning with a web store this week but contact Keith Whisler at [email protected] to be the first at your track to run these exciting new cells. You will not be dissapointed and your competition will envy you!

My brother out-qualified me in both the two races, 19t and stock. While in the lead (in qualifying of 19t) his car broke down (diff went bad) so I had to redo it in a hurry, and not 2 races after it was put together he was about a second off of TQ in the stock truck qualifier, ended up within like 3 seconds. In 19t, he broke early on (screw pulled out of the bottom of the rear shock), and then in stock, he crashed in the first few laps and then just got put behind the field, and never had a chance to come up much.

Joey: 19t, 10th, Amain; stock: 9th (out of 12), Amain

I had a great run in 19t, I had so much power and excelleration in the qualifying I had to loosen the slipper to help fix my power-to-traction problem. Stuck it out in 4th almost the whole race, and managed to get by Casper 10 feet from the line .

In stock, didn't do so well. Didn't qualify great at all, backed with a very competitive and, well, we'll leave it as "aggressive" field, it wasn't easy to move up in position. Probably could have gone a touch looser on the slipper to help with the traction.

edit: Special thanks to all of Socal Raceway, both the staff and the racers for the "honorable mention" family award. That was very kind of you guys .

14yo Kody K. placed 4th in int B main with a Banzai rebuildable Dyno- stock motor and Slingshot IB 3600 batteries. He Was leading and in the top 3 for most of the race and stumbled at the last minute just a few feet from the finish.

Thank you to Scott and Judi for the horsepower and Keith for the batteries. Talk about a winning combination. Too much horsepower, oh yeah!

thank you to Doug for putting up with me and racing with me, it was a fun racing and it appears that I can still drive semi OK at least, haha.

Happy Holidays!

It was great having you at the track. We will need to continue making this a more regular thing!

It was great to have you in the pits again. The weekend would have been a lot better if I had a little more space to my left if you know what I mean!
