Now what stock motor will be the best for this race. I have two stock Bonzai motors, one has a blue can and the other is silver. Not sure of the difference in these and if it matters.

Casper
Do I follow the set up you have posted for my BK2 on your web page?

Yes use the setup from my web page. That is a great setup for the BK2!

Motors. Not sure which one is silver? The only silver can I know is the C2 with is a bearing 19T motor.

The Banzai blue can motors are awesome. I would run that one in stock and gear it at 20/78 to start.

Where's everybody racing this week-end??

Roll call for the SuperCross!!

If you need something for the race, call me NOW!!

As far as I can tell, everyone has picked up stuff already, but

call me if not, 626-963-0422!!

We are planning on being there on Saturday. Had a question the

other night, some people don't realize this is a 2 day race. So,

I thought I better post that.

Also, just a reminder, take extra parts!!!!!!!

How is everyone going to be pitting. I went down to Socal and it doesnt look like 150 people could fit in thier pit area. Am I wrong?

Casper can probably give you more exact numbers,

but we have had over 200 entries for a JBRL race there.

We always seem to find room!!

Actually I think it was over 260!

You see the black lines painted on the table. For the supercross that is all you get for pit space!!!

150 entries really means 80-90 people. Most people will run more then one class. The place is full though. There are usually a couple people that will pit in the parking lot in there motor homes and stuff as well.

I don't mean to sound like a kid but I am getting excited. Been a loooooooong time for me. I have no excuses now with my Bonzai power hose and slingshot batteries.

I think it is great you are excited by the hobby! I can hardly wait to get to the track tomorrow! let alone this weekend! It has been a while since I have been able to get a testing day in. This race is always a good time. Just make sure you get there EARLY on Sat so you can get a good pit spot. They start lining up at the door around 4-4:30!

I seen some com drops at the hobby shop and was wondering if Banzai recomends this stuff? If so I am going to grab some.

Casper - Will one set of tires be enough? I dont ever recal needing to replace tires before but these are sooo soft.

WOW!! You can sure tell R/C Tech was down again, almost

no browsers when I got on! Hope the server upgrade here

will be soon!

I can guarantee you I will NOT be there at 4 in the morning!

Somebody better save me at least a sitting spot!!

And I sure hope it warms up, I'm freezing tonight, temps down

in the low 40's. Not sure if I'm still in California, or I've entered

the Twilight zone!!!!!!!

Judi

P.S. James, we NEVER use comm drops, so I just saved you some $$$$

You can line up 4-3 and a half hours before the track opens, but I wont. Last year (they opened at 6) I got there at about 5:15 and there were maybe, 2 people in front of me. You need to keep in mind that it opens at 8:00 am, and racing starts at 10:30.
