I know of a couple drivers that have suggested this to me. Thought Ide let you know.

I know that you do not have plans to produce a new motor mount, but with brushless motor requirements, it only makes sense to give the public what they want.

Bob,

I know we have talked about this and it sounds like you are planning on taking charge on this.

If I had more racers asking for this option then it is something I would think about doing, but when only about 4-5 racers need this option then it would cost way too much to produce something that will not be necessary at this time.

Keep me updated on the motor mounts that you are working on.

Im glad there are still racers interested in our 1/12th products, they were some of our favorite projects. At this time we are not planning on any updates, we might work on something for the fall carpet racing season. Check the website for any updates.

I think the need for expanding the mounting holes is mute now. Robinson is making some very small spurs with some very large pinions in 64P. A 73 tooth spur with a 50 tooth pinion would have a final drive of 3.65:1. That ought to be low enough for any situation and I'm pretty sure it would bolt right in. I spent way too much time in the past modifying my TC3 motor mounts to fit big 48P pinions only to discover these newer 64P pinions/spurs negated the need for anything I did.

Default motor mounts

Damon, no problem. The mounts that I worked on are doing fine with the FDR using 48p gearing. I think that 64p gearing could also be used to acheive the FDR that a racer wanted with the old mount.

Thanks for the carbon fibre, I will put it to good use. The season is coming to an end next month, so I will be working on the chassis this summer for next season.

Default Diggity Designs Battery Strap for the Losi Duce Duce!

We have just released our 2.5mm Carbon Fiber battery strap for the TLR 22. Standoffs and 4-40 mounting hardware is included. Brace is triangular shaped to place more surface area on the battery and can be flipped over and mounted either way to accommodate the different lipo pack sizes. Some pics are below as well as a link to where you can find it.

Hey Rob,

Sounds good bro... The raised front truck shock tower is the bomb for running the new Punisher and Bulldog bodies on the TQ....

I have had diggity shock towers on my caster e-buggy for over 6 months now with out any breakage. Last month i even went to the nitro pit nitro challenge in AZ, one of the biggest and toughest tracks in the USA. Diggity's stuff is top notch.
