Hey Guys - Sorry about the delay in responses right now. It's fiscal year end, so I am busy getting all of our ducks in a row for our friends at Revenue Canada.

I'll get to those e-mails tonight or tomorrow..... Promise!

Hey Trent and the rest of the T-Bang crew!

I've been out of the racing scene for a while now (since the Big Chill ). Is there anything new about fitting the IB42's on the Phi or I just really have to remove some of the shrink wrap? I just did not like damaging even the looks of the battery

Hope to race with the guys soon

Roy

Will need to change my avatar soon and show the Corally instead

Hi, Roy

In keeping with the Corally manufacturing quality, the PHI does indeed have very tight tolerances with the 4200 clearing the rear right bulkhead when in some of the thicker shrink wrap. Generally I can fit the cells in when I use the Trinity wrap since it's a bit thinner than most. However, it is also possible to remove the shrink wrap if need be.

One alternative, though, would be to slightly file down the rearward two battery slots just enough to let the battery clear without messing with the centre of gravity. Less tan 5 minutes of work here can solve the issue.

I hope this helps.

Phil

And to boot both Brad and Blackstock ( and Cyrul in second) are all using the new EnerG 4600 cell.

I will have some to use at the next race, combined with Trent's awesome motors I Can't wait.

they will start to ship Monday from CWR/C.... And I think after the Novak race, the demand will be very high!

Danny is very happy with the debut of them.. both on and off the track Mick and I ( Dekelz) created the art work for the shrink. so this new cell is close to our hearts for MANY reasons!

Update:

EnerG 4600 cells TQ and win EVERY class at the Novak race

What a debut!

Oh and the best part, no issues with any of the EnerG cells, no shorts, no blowups nothing but power....
