I'm getting the WGT in the morning, don't need to do anything with the 1/12 scale as it is not changed from what I'm running ..... ok well a few parts machined well and believe all parts are in. 'E' is off to the east coast, but back late this week, so keep on him!!!

I received the "New WGT Car" well all the graphite and the aluminum machined parts this morning. I'll be building the car over the next week or so and will have its first outing on the 24th at the CORRC track in Denver.

There are a few changes from the pro type that I've been running so we'll see how it does.

Chassis looks Great!! I'll post a few pictures during the build.

I just dug my MX12 out of the box it was retired to. I did so after happening to think (well, that DOES happen SOMETIMES) that the move to LiPo would shift the weight distribution back a little bit and possibly get the good ol' Darkside MX balanced just a bit more to my liking. May well try to get it put together at the track and tested this coming Saturday!!

I've done some running with that car, and it does work rather well. New car is lighter and a lower center of gravity, but the MX2 is stable and the weight change makes a good bit of difference. Let us know your thoughts.

For everyone looking forward for the new darkside road coarse cars I just came back from Indoor champs in Cleveland Ohio. I took first in 1/12 stock B main with a run that would have put me deep into the a main. In world gt I took third in the B. I had some bad luck throughout the week but I easily had the third fastest car in the class. These cars are amazing, super consistent and very durable. I would strongly recommend them to any level of racer looking for a great pan car.

Well ...... sorry no.

I've got the new car to build and photograph in the process for the instructions and would guess would end up on the web site as well.

PM me your e-mail and send you a picture of the car that I have been running, which is like the final produciton version.

Mark

Default Initial Setups

Man, you weren't kidding, that is the most beeooteeful carbon fibre I have ever seen!

The cars arrived on Sunday (?!?!?!), sure surprised me I will definitely post photos of my build process by this weekend.

For those rare few that have these cars, do you have any initial setup ideas? The instructions say to run the battery long ways in the ~10. This is the only WGT car I've heard of doing that. Is this the best way to go for carpet? Any other suggestions in regards to springs/oil etc.?

Yhe crc wgt runs the battery long ways too. You shoul try the battery both ways and see what you like better. The car will be more nuetral feeling with the battery long ways, tuning it sidewayswill make the car more aggressive coming in to the turn due to more weight tranfer and in turn give the car more overall steering.

Mick,

As Ryan (303 Slowdown) said the placement is personal preference, but I like it parallel to the axel and am now running the ESC between the battery and the center pivot. I'll take some pictures when I get it together. I can give you a starting set up and then what I'm runing, but will do that in an e-mail
