I used to run a Speedmerchant car for years, but was tired of the constant lack of support from that company, then made the switch to a Hyperform t-bar car and now I feel it is time to make the switch. I dont feel like going back to the headaches with a Speedmerchant car but I have always liked the link set up. Before I buy my friends M2 is there a new road course car coming out for this season?

Probably not a complete car. We'll be testing and releasing some updated parts as the season goes on, but nothing completely new.

I have seen quite a bit of people on here talking about the car. I am interested but I was wondering if anyone near me has one so if I have set up questions I can bounce ideas around. I tried the website and couldnt find anything about who was on the team. Does the website have a list?

I think i'm the only guy who runs the car at the big events right now, but i know a few of the westen guys who hang out on here have had them for a long time and know the car pretty well.

Well I finally got a chance to use the link jig to check my rear links...it really did a good job setting them just perfect but wasn't particularly easy to use. I know it would be more expensive to make but it would probably be easier to make it a 2 piece jig with a sliding piece. That way you can just bolt the links on and adjust. Either way if your getting the car...get the jig! It sets the links up perfectly. Now to paint a new body and I'll be ready for the race this sunday!

I wonder if the link jig could have an one elongated hole. I'll post a pic of what I am thinking. Also, I have switched over to Dubro 4-40 ZeroFriction monster links. The captured links were just hogging space new the motor pod. To space the balls, I am using 4-40 thin nuts. You can sand down the thin nuts too if needed for lower roll center.

Finally have my MX2 on the way
.....Really looking forward to the carpet season with this car
