Good Luck Mike!

DARKSIDE-

I have been hearing alot about your new 12th scale. Looks really interesting. Any problems with traction or set ups?

Will you be making the switch to the 4 bolt rear pod set up like some of the other manufacturers?

I am in the market for a new 12th scale, and I am tired of my T-bar car!

Sorry about all the questions.

We've been doing well with the chassis and traction has not been a problem thus far. Check out the set-up that Mike Haynes posted above. I'm going to be staying with a 3 bolt rear pod for now. I do not see a big performance advantage with one pod configuration vs the other. We run the same pod configuration (The aluminum pod plates are actually the same as used on all of our oval cars as well) on our oval cars and have not had any issues. Feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] if you have any other questions

Thanks

I should be ordering mine soon but I was wondering who was on the Darkside onroad team for 2006/2007? I look forward to seeing the car in the winners circle next Fall.

One more....Have you expierenced any problems with fitting the electronics on the chassis?

The Enemy Oval slider chassis has been in production since mid summer last year. Early this year we added a solid chassis to the product line. We also have a 1/12 oval chassis and a 1/12 road course available. In the works is also a 1/10 pan chassis road course chassis which will be available next month. Currently we sell all of our chassis kits as conversion kits. Very soon we will be selling complete rolling chassis versions as well. If you are looking for something specific, please contact me at [email protected]

Thanks

We've sold a bunch of oval cars, but I'm not real certain where many of them went.

Getting electronics to fit in a 1/12 car road course has always been a challenge, and our Mx2 chassis doesn't make it any easier. If you run a servo similar in size to a Futaba S9650 and something like a small spektrum rec and something along the lines of a LRP quantum of novak Gtb, you will have far fewer problems getting everything to fit. As of right now we have a couple of drivers on the on-road team, Mike Haynes from NY and Mike Maloney of MA. We are always looking to add top talent to the team. If you think that you may fit the bill, don't hesitate to send a resume to me at [email protected]

Thanks

I think that that might be a pretty tall task. It may require a complete redesign. E-mail me with some more information at [email protected]
