Do larger "booster" caps help these ESC's at all? I have an RS Gen 2 with the stock cap on it for 21.5 blinky, going from a HW V3.1 with the SMC Cap (not that I think it did a lot?)

Ran my TC today with an R1 Wurks 21.5 ran with a HW V3.1 and managed 19.6 lap times but with a Tekin RS Gen 2 in blinky mode, everything else identical, recalibrated end points etc car felt notably slower, best I could do was 20.4

Both ESC's were in Roar approved Blinky mode. Is this normal?

Did you go into the programming? I've noticed the factory setup in the speedo seems to have the Current Limit set to like 80'ish for some reason. Need to bump that up to 100 (Off).

I've had to reprogram a few RS's for people at the track and they were all well below max current. I cannot confirm if they made the change or it was set like that by default. Not sure if someone can confirm factory settings or why they would come limited out of the box.

I have attached the settings as they are, I thought it may be current limiter as well but that is off.

For the Tekin motors, the 180 degf max temp rating, is that internal (data logger) or external (temp gun)?

External since that's what most are accustomed to.

Internally you'll see 20-30 degrees higher in comparison to 180f exterior.

I have a tekno eb48sl and am think about the i8 motor. Would it be ok to run it with a 3 cell battery?

Could someone help with esc settings on a xray t4 with a 6.5t. I am running the rsx esc and a fantom d4 motor. Back straight is about 150ft. Not sure on what esc settings i should try. I am running one of the preset profiles.

As i am running Tekin rs gen2 esc, i want to know if it fits Jet motor BL motors.
Since i had heard old Tekin RS pro doesn't fit with run with Corally red series motor which has similar design.
