I'm not familiar with all sizes of battery trays. What is the size of the Losi tray ?

My friend just bought a Losi so I will have him measure the battery tray. The problem with the 5440SC for the AE tray might be the height as this pack will be at 47mm which might be to high for the Losi body. Our 5040SC is not as high and comes in at 162mm in length so if the Losi tray has 162 or more this pack will be fine on height as it's fairly thin.

We have a 5600/28C hardcase pack planned for release and that is as high as we will go as weight and size becomes a concern.

If you have the Losi 2.0 I just looked at pictures and I'm pretty sure the 5040SC will fit. If the body is 47mm or higher then the 5440SC will fit.

Danny:

1. When will the 5440SC be in-stock? (Over 47 days in back order)
These should fit the AE tray... based on your previous posts, right?

2. Any news about the mold for a hard case pack for AE tray?

The 5440SC is not yet available but they should ship to us real soon. Our biggest problem at the moment is pretty much all our packs are in real high demand and our supplier has to hire more workers to keep up with the demand.

There is a very good chance that we will have a 5200/40C hardcase pack that will fit the AE cars. I should have confirmation from the guy who makes our mold anyday now.

The 5440SC will be shipping to us by the end of this week if no issues occur.

I know some of you our furstrated with the delays on some of our packs but our supplier is doing his best to keep up with the demand of our packs which is very high. Also there can be issues when making new cells especially the high C rate cells which are harder to make. Our goal is to release cells/packs that will be as reliable as possible.

This is excellent news Danny!

Even though the frustration part is undoubtedly a fact... There was really nothing else to do except to wait, IF we want high quality items!

I think many will agree with me in that we are getting the best batteries available out there. We have to wait, but I am sure it will be worth the wait.

BTW - Do you have any news back on the mold for a possible 4S-5200-40 hard case pack that will fit the AE tray? If these pack are given the OK, when do you expect them to hit the market?

The 5200/40C hardcase packs that will fit the AE will happen but I'm not sure when they will be ready and I'm not going to give a date as many hold me to this date. It's all about getting the new case tooling done. At the moment the tooling for the 5400/40C hardcase is being started on and then I guess the 5200 hardcase will be started.
