The RaceWorks Electric Offroad Championship (EOC) 2016
Hi guys, this year the RaceWorks crew is embarking on a new racing programme designed to promote competitive electric offroad racing and further increase the standards of local electric tenth scale buggy racers. Introducing the ELECTRIC OFFROAD CHAMPIONSHIP or EOC for short! Races in this series will promote fair and fast racing with new layouts and race checks and a schedule that will allow time for setup changes and team discussions to promote the best racing. We will also invite drivers from around the region to compete in particular legs of the series to further stretch and refine our skills. Some races may also be held at different venues and on different surfaces to widen our exposure and hone our setup skills to drive and excel in different race conditions. It is our hope that we can grow together as a community in our offroad racing skills both technically and in terms of driving ability. THIS IS A RERUN OF ROUND 1. We are starting 4WD first then 2WD for this round. Note that race fees paid for 20/3 event will be carried over for this race. Date : 3 April 2016 (Sunday) Venue : RaceWorks Offroad Arena - Singapore's Largest Offroad Track Classes : - 1/10 Scale Electric 2WD Offroad Open Buggy - 1/10 Scale Electric 4WD Offroad Open Buggy Schedule : 4WD Open Class - 0900hrs : 4WD Registration - 1000hrs : 4WD Event Starts - 1400hrs : 4WD Event Ends 2WD Open Class - 1330hrs : 2WD Registration - 1400hrs : 2WD Event Starts - 1800hrs : 2WD Event Ends "The EOC is designed to promote fair and fast racing in Singapore both on and off the track. Race layouts will be changed prior to every race to level the playing field and race schedules will be designed to allow more time for racers to work on setups and preparation. Unite with us to grow the racing standards in Singapore! Let's race together and go faster and race better as we crown Singapore's first EOC Champion!"
