Last Sunday we tried to cram as many F1's into the same race as we could. 29 cars started the race and 27 finished so we're claiming a new unofficial "World Record" for the most F1 cars in a single race.
Race report and photos are up here.
We had a lot of fun doing this and we challenge other F1 tracks and clubs around the world to give it a go and show us how many cars you can fit on your track! You might set the next world record!!

Hey guys,
I was offered to buy a Tamiya F104W Lotus Type 79 in order to have some carpet F1 fun here in Athens. There is no actuall F1 category so there is no restricion. The trck is carpet...
I was wondering does the W version is as good as the narrow version?
What will it take to run modern bodies?
Thank you in advance
Regards
Argi

IMHO, wider car have better high speed turn in. Narrow cars are better in infield slalom.
Depending on your setup, each car can be maximised to its max potential if dial-in correctly.
Personally i find that F104 has better turn-in than F103, F103 tends to understeer more. just my 2cents

If the tiresare the ony difference that's good to know...how will I make it take modern F1 bodies?
Is there a website I can read to learn more about models, differences, tuning etc
How the old F104 compares to newer F1's like Speed Passion, Kyosho etc?
