Default RC In Taipei?

Hi Guys,

Landed up in Taipei for a long business stay. Was wondering if another knows of any RC shop/track here.

I know Ho Bao manufactures stuff in Taiwan & I have the address to their factory, but have not check it out yet.

Would appreciate any information...

Default R/C in Taipei

Not many R/C car shop in Taipei city. In any case prices not cheap. In fact, very few things are cheap in Taipei.

You can try "Wan Nien Ta Lo" or ten thousand year big building in "Si Men Ting". Go up to the 4th floor (I think. Maybe 5th). There are a few shops there.

Thanks for your tip again.

Your advice before about the place to be in HK was much appreciated.

Hi guys, erm, did someone wanted the places of the hobby shops in Taipei? There are in fact not many in Taipei city. What I know is that there is one in Si Men Ding, Wan Nian Ta Lo building. If ya don't know, the place is like a orchard road to the teens in Taipei. There's only one shop that do sell the RC parts in Wan Nian. It's in one of the corner of the 4th floor( Turn right after exiting from the escalator. The rest only concentrate on scale models. And there's another 1 in Taipei Line. It's near to one of the night markets there, well gotta check out the address for ya. (Forgot). However, the parts there aren't really as cheap as ya think, in actual fact, there are some that are rather ex.

My report of the place in Si Men Ting...

Nice place to look at young girls, but quite pathetic in terms of RC. No dedicated RC shop, they mix it with other toys, ala Wheelie Deelie in Taka.

Stuff in HK is much better - you got to shop around, but I went to one that really gave me a good price - but I bought so many parts that I could effectively build a new car : )

Will check out Taipei Line this weekend - no idea what it is.

The place with the soccer ball is quite cool in terms of architecture - but no RC!
