Cool R.A.C.E. @ Ampang Shopping Center

Not sure of the actual address, but they are on the ground floor. During the early 90s, when my friends and I actively goes up to KL for races, this shop was our lighthouse. Being not too familiar with KL roads, this shop is like the easiest to find and we always end up there first, have a rest, get a Mac (MacDonalds), get some hotel or directions from them then move out. I think they are the oldest R/C shop around KL.

nope, the kits r not necessary cheaper...

in fact,i think s'pore is cheaper...
but 1 thing is tat for us to buy n bring a new kit in is sometime too troublesome bcos of the custom especially to those who do not have car and have 2 use public transport.

so i try 2 support my LHS when it comes 2 getting kit,oni when i have veri gd deals(2nd hand) then i risk getting it across the custom...even so,it is not a gd idea 2 bring the box across the custom as the malaysia custom knows the tamiya logo and branded it as veri xpensive so...well,u know the rest...

watever it is,try 2 support ur LHS...

Yup, Radio-Auto-Car-Enterprise is easily the oldest still-surviving RC car *only* shop in KL. Been going since 1982.

Located Ampang Park Shopping Complex - Ground floor on the left side of the building, row behind the chemist.

The KL guys used to chat on the Trinity site a few years ago, but they all seem to have dissipated to nowhere.

RC is still quite expensive for the average Malaysian paycheque...
