Hi guys,
we'd like to try to keep this thread purely for event participants to post about the vintage cars they intend to run and the upcoming event. I know there are no forum rules to prevent anyone posting here but I hope you guys don't mind posting your event-related questions on the NOOBS CLASSICS announcements thread or sending them to me via PM *unless* you've signed up for the event.
We seek your understanding and hope to see you signed up for this fun run soon!
VTR - You have PM relating to your question.

Interesting car info : KYOSHO MAXXUM FF!
- this is one of the few production front-wheel-drive buggies and coming from Kyosho the finishing was one of the better ones! Another FF car was the Nichimo spirit FF (not sure if there were others?)
- here's a link to the manual MAXXUM FF MANUAL for those who want to see it's interesting engineering.
- not sure when was the year of release but it's pre-1989 for sure!

Interesting car info : Tamiya FROG!
info paraphrased from Tamiya R/C Collector's Website
- The Tamiya Frog was released in the early 80's.
- One of the first RC off-road car that had a really good suspension system
- The car was much better than those that came before and it wasn't unusual to see more than a few Frogs on the starting grid
- there was HUGE aftermarket support for the Frog (Thorp created a ball differential and dogbones, CRP put out lighter and tougher bumpers, skid plates and suspension parts - many still available on ebay!, Hot Trick even went as far as replacing the entire chassis with an awesome red aluminum one!
Here's a HOT TRICK modified Frog
Best of all, Tamiya re-released the frog a few years ago and it's still available in kit and RTR format at your local hobby store - waiting for you to run at the NOOBs CLASSICS! <wink!>
