For some families, staying home and being seen working on the rc cars/boats/helicopters can be a good thing as we are practicing our mechanical skills, artistic talent and basically putting what we learnt at Physics, Chemistry and Mech. engr into practice.
Growing up with this main hobby was a good thing and I couldnt get myself into much mischief
Balance the time between working at home with the cars and going out to the LHS and the tracks both local and overseas, and you'll see this is a rewarding hobby.
I'm not so sure if its jealousy or a hint that we are getting too obssessed with our cars especially when a lady says we spend too much time at home tuning our cars. I'm very fortunate that my friends (both men and women) are very interested in this hobby
