Yes I enjoyed the race. Its really fun we got ferraris, outdated low nose F1s( the ones ozone and I are running), formula3, and also the new 4wd ferrari F201.
Great driving by ozone. Credit goes to all his "secret weapons" namely super 'fast' servo, mega ESC sprinter and ultra shock absorber. Well I guess that in F1 the winners are drivers with better skills not fatter wallets.

Hi all.
What's are the good bad points of the Tamiya F103RS chassis versus the Cross FireForce F1? Can the FireForce F1 run the usual tamiya tires, rims etc?
Ozone next race remember my G12C

Hi Alvin
Never really driven the Cross but from what i ve seen both cars can be setup to go fast. The Cross would have more front tuning posiibilities. I prefer the parts quality and fit on the Tamiya and also the fact thats its stupid tough. Whats cool is that the tyres wheels and rear pod are interchangeable between the two cars. Rose Money uses the Cross he can tell you more.

terence: im the one drivin the nokia powered f1...and yup i still owe u ur motor box...hehe paisei...pass it back next race(tamiya??) or let me noe when u need it...batt box??
alvin: i tink i would prefer the cross to the f103...battery position is much better...can b place at the center of the chassis (pro 3)...better weight transfer...it oso has a stiffer chassis compared to the stock f103rx (need upper deck) ...for the rims and tyres, they're inter-changeable...another point to note is parts support...try to get the f103rx over the f103rs, if u consider getting the f103 chassis else go for the cross chassis....
hehe mayb u get the cross chassis and exchange it wif my f103rx...LOL

Ozones right the f103 will need some hop ups (upper deck, bearings, heatsink mount). So does the cross(bearings, alu hinge mounts, diff) You wont be able to get the RX kits in singapore any more unless for used. The RS still handles quite well in stock though. In terms of part support I dont know of any place where you can find parts for the cross. Havent seen them at all so be prepared to buy online. If you buy online dont forget that the Corally F1 FRP version comes at $236 with full bearings and you dont need to buy any hop ups.
