One way you could do it is to stick some of those HPI Pro2 Saddle Pack holders on the chassis, but the packs still won't sit as low as the saddle chassis.
If I were you I would just buy the saddle chassis from the US. And yes the chassis can only be bought in the US as far as I know, as it is called the "US Spec Carbon Chassis".

Thanks rccarracer! I guess I need to take a look at the hpi shoppe near my place... but before that I need to ask the local distributor if they carry it. May have a chance eh ?

OTOH, I have news that a rc-cross ta04 saddle chassis is available. I would like to run that but I would think it ain't legal for the tamiya series in singapore so the idea is cut.

I read in another forum that it is not...as told by the manufacturer Penguin...the best way is to ask the organiser.

Cheers.

Wait a second. The saddle chassis is actually produced from Penguin RC and not tamiya?

Default Carbon Chassis

Penguin's version is different from the saddle chassis by Tamiya USA. I think you won't have any problem racing with the US version since our race here is a "mildly regulated" close race. Not sure about Penguin's.

Yes You can use that Tamiya Saddle pack chassis(52001) for the race....
In fact you may see quite a few person using at the coming race.
But don't bother to ask Tai Sing cos they don't have it.

Well dudes, thanks for the response. Guess I will wait out the saddle chassis till I get access to a credit card or some way to purchase from US (the price ain't cheap either).

I don't think I want to get the stick pack carbon chassis unless the price is really good - with the saddle chassis I can get my batteries to sit lower AND closer to the centreline. So.... i'll just use my reinforced lower deck.

Check u dudes out in the race then! Thanks again.

Regards,
Alvin
