Default Removal of CVD Pins from Universal Joints or Dog Bones

Hi has anyone tired to remove and replace those pins on universal joints or Dog bones? Can share on how to do it? There is hudy tool for this but very expensive and heard that it don't really work. Any other cheaper tools to recommend or methods to extract these pins....thanks in advance.

This tool is excellent for 3mm driveshaft pins.
Its usage is very straight forward with very good results/
I use it whenever the pin is a little worn, this ensures an extended lifespan for my Hudy Spring steel drive cups.
Give it a shot!

Hudy tool for Pin extraction:
well, you can get a pin extractor (basically it is a pin punch, to hit the pin out, different pin sizes and length available) from good hardware shop ,shops like Wah Leh in Syed Alwi Rd, or Chee Fatt (same road)
