I had the KO EX10 Helios 2.4G before.
It is lightweight, very easy to program and i liked it a lot! However, some people dun like its simplified LCDs display, said it looks primitive.
I like its looks. Looks different from typical controllers.
Understood from onroad guru that this is the best radio period for onroads.
I was using it for my offroad buggy then, so its functionality was enough for me and the "precise control" of the EX10 did not really make a difference to me. Noob anyway.

Then, I went into crawling. Now i need a 3rd channel that does 3 way position. And i found out that EX10 could not do that! It can only do a two positions MOMENTARILY function only. So i had to get a new radio that does it. 4pk was the answer. Its 3rd and 4th channel can basically be programmed to do anything i need.

Bottomline, what do u use it for? Onroad, offroad, crawling, bashing, boating? (4pk has boating function, cannot remember whether EX10 has it or not)

I think Futaba 4pk is a great radio with lots of programming functions. It is so flexible and offers so much controls. If you think u will ever need that 3 or 4 channel with full functionalities, suggest u go for 4 pk. I loved my EX10 and many onroads players swear by it. Supposedly, KO's controls are more precise, i heard, but i think most of us would not feel the differences at all...

I guess it all boils down to personal preference. I find Ex10 exciting looking and 4Pk slick looking

if KO is rolls royce (solid look),
then futaba is jaguar (slick)
and sanwa is bmw (sporty)

Bro,

You had said something that I totally agree, it has the look that eiher you like it or f@#k it...

I am a off roader, i suppose there should be no issue of the settings

it seems that Helios is more popular than "*"PK...

Anymore comments from our senior ?

but 2.4 is definitely the way to go.

Default Sanwa

I will still pefer my old Radio the Sanwa M8, but now using the M11. Regret getting the M11 due to the weight, but like the feel and the balance of it. Anyway will be still using the M11 at can still be used with my 12 year old Sanwa Receiver.

Anyway i will still recommand the 4PK cause it is a newer model and it feels more solid than the EX10. Dun believe try holding it tight and u will hear some cracking sound.

This is my own personal feel about this 3 top end radio.
