Default Lets talk about HPI Pro 4. :D

To all HPI Pro 4 Users, got a few questions to ask. As the Pro 4 is discountinued, I'm worried about the parts support.

1. What parts uses the same as the HotBodies Cyclone?
2. Which part/parts wears off fast?
3. The ball diff cups, isit using the same as the Cyclone or different?
4. Any advices for this chassis?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Bryson,

The pro4 is not discontinuted, it is still selling in many country and part support is still available at Tai Sing.

1. What parts uses the same as the HotBodies Cyclone?
- Cyclone have the same suspension geometry as the Pro4, they share the same arms, c-hub, knuckle, rear upright, toe block and axle, however the pro4 UJ is slightly longer which happen to be the same as Pro-D.

2. Which part/parts wears off fast?
- the usual part like UJ and bevel gear, the D4 and Pro-D bevel gear, one-way are the same as pro4

3. The ball diff cups, isit using the same as the Cyclone or different?
- The ball diff outdrive is different from Cyclone, but the Pro-D one may fit seem the oneway are the same.

4. Any advices for this chassis?
- It is a good chassis, but how much you like it depends on what class and where you are running it.

Also, why the USA website posted discontinued?
Are they still making parts for the pro 4?
