hi everyone, is anybody else running Tamtech buggies here? I just got back into RC after 20 years, seduced by the re-issued Frog, Hornet and all.

But more into fun driving rather than competitive racing, and the Tamtech gear buggies are much more affordable to run as well as bring around.

So anybody else run them here??

Yes. Stargek is having a Great Stargek Sale(GSS) for one month. Just bought a tamtech spt motor for $14 instead of S17+ . I'm now saving up for a mass buy at stargek by the end of this month

Give them a call at: 67462168, let them know which model you are looking for. Don't tell them GB-02 / 03 etc as there might have different cars along this chassis like The Tamtech Frog, Fox, Desert Gator, etc uses the same chassis (GB-01) as such different cars might have different discount amount.

Call them.

i went to stargek.
the tamtech prices still quite high even with discount compared to online shops+shipping.

how's the handling of the buggies? good or not.

i got a desert gator, feel like getting a desert gator tamtech.

on the flip side, if i get i prob won't run it

decided on the gb-03. drive well and fun too. not limited to outdoor too.
played for 2 day and had replaced 2 front differential gear already. i suspect it is a design problem. spares also limited. so future buyer beware. may want to consider the cheaper gb-02 instead.
i agree price is high here. which online store are u looking at which is cheaper? (for my future reference).
