You're right ! I still believe the TB02 is a more cost effective car at $260 for the assembly kit as it comes with full bearings.

A TT01 assembly kit is around $180 and if you add in full bearings around $30, Alloy center shaft and misc items so that its comparable with the TB02, it'll cost more than $300.

But as DaBomb said, you can't use the TB02 in the stock class TAC race. (But you CAN use the TT01 in the GT class)

Nebermind lah ! ......we social racer first, if can make it then become more serious otherwise remain social racers

Come to think of it, I think I more of a "Start, stop, start, stop" racer then social racer !

.....Better way is to invest in an infra Temp Probe.
does people really use the saliva method?

Hi zax,

You can try the sanwa MX-3S Synthesized frequency, so you can change your FM(Mhz) if there's a conflict... it's a 3 channels controller... I guess you means at least 10 frequencies to go around... rather then 10 channels to fit 10 servos...

think it's under 400... or even less, last I heard is 300+ (WHS)... best to check with the LHS...

Cheers

You bet ! .......Back in the early nineties, when a temp probe costs around $500....

.............everybody was spitting away at their gas engine like nobodys business !

Huaah ? ....you wan 10 CHANNELS ???? I fly my most sopisticated R/C plane oso neber use so many channel !

I dun think you mean 10 frequencies either, If you change frequencies 5 times and all 5 times you clash with somebody then you better not waste your money on 4D as you are the most "Sway" person on this earth (No offence hor !)
Aiyah, even your blazer controller can change the Freq crystals if there is a clash wat !

I think you mean 10 model memories... ? most of the newer mid-range radios (From $150 to $250) nowadays have 10 or more model memory.

The Sanwa Mx-3 FM or the newer Mx-3s FM is a good mid price tx,if you planning to get a used tx for about $200,you can get the KO EX-1 MARS-R,its a very good tx

was wondering how much is the Sanwa Mx-3s, brand new one? am i right to say that other than steering and trottle, it has another extra control for maybe some other purpose? and will there be any noticable difference in steering as compared to using a beginner tx like the futaba MJ?
about the saliva method? is it better to use this method or invest in a temp probe? i have never seen anyone but myself using this method and it feels kinda weird. am i the only person still using this method now or are there someone else like me?
