The one in your picture is definitely not close to anything of a "proper" charger. If you're certain you'll stick with Nimh for some time, look for a proper hobby grade charger. These are not expensive if someone is selling them over at the Selling thread.

But if you have thought of going into Lipo in future, which is the next generation of EP cars, look at chargers that can charge both Nimh and Lipo. I remembered someone in Bt.Panjang Offroad thread selling one, doesn't look too bad for below $100.

actually i want to know more about lipo batteries too...but couldnt really find alot of soucre for that....perhaps a nimh and lipo charger will be great for far investment ?

Charger is a gd investment.....
Spent $400 on a charger and powersupply 3-4yrs back....
now i am still using the charger....

Default Piston

Hello Sifu's and kaki's out there,

Im in need of help due to my clumsiness, i did not know how to put back the piston after removing and cleaning it, Is the piston skirt thats cut suppose to face the flywheel? or is it facing the pullstart? im sorry to bother u guys.

Help much appreciated.

Hi all,
i would like to ask, under what condition of a li-po would u guys think is "unplayable"... Cos i think my li-po is slightly bloated. but how u guys check for bloat-ness for the li-po..

an unplayable lipo depends on the user's courage, haha..

First is bloating, If its really bloated really bad, u should stop, if its just a little. its normal.

2nd is voltage , check the voltage frequently, one of the cells might be lower voltage and that might cause a fire,

Lastly, Whenever u see smoke coming from the lipo. immediately throw it away , someplace safe. where no further burning may occur.

hihi. anyone out there knows where i can buy Airtronics M8 Transmitter Battery Cover in any LHS? or any shop that carries airtronics transmitter accessories?

think i saw M8 batt & access. at sam's.....but that was long long time ago.
