25/55 is the best spur and pinion matching for 01...
sport tuned is a 27T stock motor...
u fried 1 means hav played too long...
u hav to let the motor rest and cool down after playin bout 15-20min...

Hey guys, I don't have a servo saver for my TT-01. Is it 100% necessary for drifting?

Hi guys....
pardon me...have a very silly question to ask...
what is the difference between a touring and drift spec chasis?

as mentioned earlier...got an m03 recently...and it started the RC bug for me...
now thinking of getting a drift car to try out....
is it that the tyres are different or there are more diff, like gears etc....

cos i was looking at tamiya and hpi...
the basic kits like tt01 and e10 comes in touring and drift versions...
are they inter-changeable...
and any recommendation of a drift car to recommend for starters...

thanks a million

Wo...read thru the posts in this thread...
found out a quite a few things....thanks guys...really wholesome knowledge for newbies....

just still abit confused..
that to drift, car need to be 4wd and also change the tyres type...
does it mean that kits like tt01 and e10 ...just need to change the tyres....will convert to drift spec? is this the only diff between tt01 and tt01D?

thanks another million...

i can share my knowledge wif u...

diff between tt01 and tt01D:

01 front and rear upper arms r come wif fixed measurements/lengths wich means u cannot do anything to them to adjust ur front and rear camber...

01D come wif ADJUSTABLE front and rear upper arms wich means u can adjust camber measurements/lengths...

1. My TT-01 understeers while drifting. Most people say they like both diffs locked. So that's what I did, do I unlock the front diffs for it to stop under steering?

2. My old chassis( no name) the motor was on the right side. Now my TT-01 the motor's on the left side. So I had to turn on the throttle reverse switch.

So now I can only use the brakes if going backwards since I need to turn on the reverse switch. Is there any radio under $50 CAD, that I can use with the TT-01 without having this problem?

Try not to lock both diffs at once. Because then, you wouldn't know how it'll feel with one locked. Try locking the rear 1st then run. If still not running as wht you want, try the rear and then try both.

If I reverse the wires on my motor. Will it do any damage to my ESC? You have to be 100% sure. I don't wanna fry it D:

Ex: red-blue, black-yellow

It shouldn't. Just that your motor would run in the opposite direction. But it's not recommended.
