My personal view:

Slightly better than DF03 but the typical Tamiya plastic suspension parts weakness still there and will definitely end up spending A LOT more to strengthen them. To be value for $ go get a TRF501X, Kyosho ZX-5 or Hotbodies Cyclone D4, even better get an Associated B44 if you are serious about 4WD EP buggy.

It's should be quite possible with TB02, but bear in mind that TB02 have limited gear ratio to play with. My current gear ratio using Sport tuned for such a large tire is 7.91. So if you want to play with lower turn motor, you will have problem with the gear ratio.

Managed to run it on BK track, which this chassis suppose to join in for a race, but got cancel due to rain. So i try running it when the rain stop and the track still wet. Handling was good. So now waiting to run it on dry road.

Default TT-01

I've done it on the TT-01..

Here it is...

I reckon the TA05 will have a better choice of gear ratios to handle the larger wheels and tires.
