I'm thinking I'll need a new body for my TRF 501x soon and found out that Team Azarashi makes a cool upgrade that sells for less than the Tamiya original.

I just placed my order yesterday for the Tateego body & wing package, set of lightweight wings and chassis film to be shipped to the US and the total was 8700 JPY. Shipping total was 2250 JPY, so current exchange rate would be about $19.70 USD. Not too bad and that is shipping with EMS and includes tracking number too.

Paypal exchange rate was 111.1 JPY to $1 USD, not the 114.2 JPY to $1 seen everywhere else. No big deal I guess.

But yeah, my OEM 501 body is seeing some cracks near the rear body post where the body has some 90 degree angles.

Shipping to the USA is very very fast! I paid for my order on Friday last week. The package got to my house on Tuesday, but I couldn't sign for it until yesterday. Shun and his team must ship the same or following day.
