Kyosho Masters 2007 PARIS
Report : RB Products
Date of the race: 16-17/6/2007
Place: SUCY
Drivers : 123
Weather : Hot but some rain spoiled the final
THE RACE :
Young driver Elliot Boots sponsored by CML who distributes RB Products in the UK has won the prestigious Kyosho Masters held in France annually.
The race is attended by Kyosho's top drivers from all around the world and this year was no exception. In attendance were current world champion Mark Pavidis and past world champions Daniel Reckward and Yuichi Kanai. Also in the field were multiple world finalist Linus Thern, winner of the recent Euro's warm up Jerome Aigoin, past european champion Miguel Matthias and other stars such as Adrien Bertin and Stephane Deroch.
In the main final which was run in wet conditions, Elliot passed pole man Mark Pavidis early on and never looked back going on to win by a comfortable 2 laps.
Perhaps the biggest surprise was that Elliot was running his S7 engine, which he normally uses at club and local events. This seemed to cause quite alot of interest in the pits where people were amazed that this less expensive engine was fast enough to run at the front of this field of superstars.
Congratulations to Elliot and thank you for choosing the S7 world champion engine. It prooves that RB high quality is for all kind of engines and that the reinforced crankshaft and the durable
He is only 16!!!!!!

Hey Bro!,
TM928 is a good stuff. Though lots of ppl says that its hard to tune, what u can do is to get help from Hobbylink shop owner, Uncle Sam to help you tune the engine. For me, i still ask his help when comes to tuning the engine coz he knows best abt RB engine. TM928 is more suitable for truggies and definitely powerful for its torque and power. If you are using for an on-road car, there are other models o RB that u can ask Uncle Sam to help. The mounting for the engine should be the same. To have an engine mount will be better as it will help your chasis and engine in the long run if u are using it for bashing.
Cheers

just note that the xray one piece engine mount will not fit the 928...

so far, we have run in about 4 rb c6 t7 engines... the c6 t7 engine material are a little different from the normal c6... the piston is forged and cnc... liner is a lot harder, and the pinch is slightly lower than the normal c6...
we have run 5 tanks on the 1st engine and it's still impossible to turn over when it cools...
i'll suggest to run it at least 5 tanks at slightly higher idling at least 90-105c... then run it for another 3 tanks on a slightly rich (only slightly) settings... please take not to keep up the temp at about 105-110c so the liner and piston fit is correct to ensure proper wear..
please also take note that you'll require rb1051 no.6 turbo plug to ensure proper running and idling...
also add a 0.1mm shim to the button to reduce detonation...
if still got problem, go see sam... he'll get it fixed in 30secs... god of rb!!!
my 2 cents...

I;m not sure how much it cost but u can try to contact Hobbylink ( www.hobbylink.com.sg ) to sk for the price.
By the way, i am not an on road GP fella but i have seen quite a few guys using that for the GP On-Road Car.
my less than 2 cents worth
