would like all the teams taking part in the 3 endurence race on the 28 -04-2007 to make payment for the race at Track RCI before the 15 -04 -2007.
So we can have a good estimate on the amount of food to prepare for the BBQ.

Nice Lights Ray, the 1st pic is Spooky, saw a pair of legs.....
Tips for u & everyone, after painting the body (with whatever color u like), cover the whole body with a last coat of Black paint before removing the window mask. This way, bright lights wouldn't penetrate through the rest of the body.

Thanks for the tip, i tot thicker paint would help. Black seems to make more sense. It may be an advantage to see the car better in darkness though.

Won't the black darken light colours and make a white finish wierd? Btw, what do you guys use for lights, self made LEDs?

Think black WILL darken the bright colors. Maybe silver better? or black after white? Paint gurus pls advise. I'll want to do up another lighted car.

Yup. Ultra bright LEDs. I used 2 White 5mm, 2 blue 3mm and 2 Red 3mm. Remember to pair with correct resistor. BEC 6V will fry the diodes.

For those who want good LEDs you can try GoFlyKite at Riverside Point. They stock good stuff for use with their Kites. SimLimTower sometimes overrate their stuff, Super bright are less bright than ultra bright.

If you paint the the body right in the 1st place, example; covering the flour.colors with white, control the amount of paint, giving it 2-3 lights even coats with good drying time instead of 1 thick coat.... The last coat of black paint woun't have much effect on the bright colors. Yes, u need to spary the etire body with White color before sparying the Black.
Most colors are semi transparent, unlike black or dark blue, so chances are lights passing through it will be reduce.
If u hold a painted body close to yr eyes, (in board daylight) I'm sure u can see shadow through it. Now back it with Black color & tell me.
Btw, the black color will give the finished body a more soild look & all colors will have more contrast. It is because darkening the 'back' helps to reflex the bright colors back to our eyes instead of penetrate through it.
