you have loose gears on your df03? how come? got to be careful with the bearing size as they can be quite tricky.

i use ceramic grease provided in the kit. good enough and don't squeeze out too much

My DI rear gearbox seems tight .
read from another website , too much grease in there cause drag and make motor work harder.

i guess i would have to remove the extra grease.

If I remember correctly, the DI gear box when new is very smooth. Should not be tight. Maybe you take out the bevel gear connecting the rear gearbox to the propeller shaft and see if the drag is caused by the bevel or the main diff gear.

Also, please be sure to tighten your diff properly. They are not very good.

Another thing is that the spur gear cover don't seal well. I used some RTV silicon on my DI to really seal it.

No need to remove the extra grease lah. Run 1 pack all the grease will be fling off the gear liao.

You must tighten the ball diff, but do not over tighten. Have to roll the wheels at both side to feel if it is too tight or loose.

Anyone mount the on/off switch on outside of the chassis for DF03.

yup kind of, cos you have to disconnect the battery as well.....i hate to remove body but no choice

Using the default pinion gear which come wif the kit.
