For stock class can we use a TT-01R or TT-01D chassis. Are mini CVA dampers allowed on the TT-01? Sorry to ask. I am new to this and use car for drifting but thought it might be fun to join in

Btw, any tips on setup of the TT-01 for this challenge. What type of pinion and spur gear should be used..etc? Also what are the best tyres to use? Any help much appreciated.

dr catman..

yes..the tto1r and drift are allowed in the stock class....any upgrades that are tamiya and meant for the tt01 are allowed....just remember that the esc has to be the tamiya one and you are suppose to use the silver mabuchi.

see you in march

The rules say must have at least 2 crystals replacements. IS it okay to use a synthesised system such as 3PK FSS, which allows 8 channels to choose from?

hey dr catman..

i haven't got a clue for the stock tt01...cos i have not been racing that class for some time...but i suppose you need the biggest possible pinion that the car can fit...and as for the tires...best to ask the guys who race this class..like ali_G.

as for the ta05...you guys can try the ratio from 5.6 to 6.0 with a tz or rz motor..i personally prefer the rz cos it gives more power..as for the tires...tamiya b3 with medium or hard inserts works well..

no need. the organisers can provide the transponder if you do not own a personal one.

Hi viper159,

The batteries can be any capacities in the form of Ni-cd and Ni-mah stick pack for stock class.

The connectors can be of any type too.

We try to simplify the rules this year to have more ppl to come forward and join in the race.
We hope that everyone can have an enjoyable and fun but competitive racing in TAC2007.

Hi Tzer,

The incentives will consist of Tamiya spare parts, chassis kits, vouchers and other r/c related items.

It will only be applicable to drivers who complete 4 races at the minimum.

Additionally, every month series race will have lucky draws consisting of vouchers and chassis kit.

So this year which category are you thinking of joining, after having represented Singapore last year in the buggy class?
