hi all,
can i get any brand lipo 3c batt and change the connector and hook it to my transmitter?

yep, can. As Long as it fits nicely into the battery compartment without a single squeezy pressure against the LiPo.
Oh ya, remember to grab yourself a 3c safety cut-off circuitry just incase of any unforeseen situations. You can grab one of such from HobbyLink.
