rustler: I asked the shop on the 2nd floor about the Hornet's (if i'm not wrong) price and it was like over 6 times more than the Feda. And thats just for the heli!!

The only prob I face is the tail rotor pinion which keep sliping
HZM: From what I have read over the internet the pinion coming off and the tail motor being toast after a couple of flights seems to be the main problems.
I read on some site (dun have the url though) that a piece of thread should be inserted in between the motor's shaft and the pinion and then thick CA should be applied at the end of the shaft.
This will prevent the pinion from coming off.

I will try to post links to websites pertaining to the Piccolo and Feda.

Not only expensive but some have difficulties to assemble.

Hi HZM,

Hey what did you use to paint the canopy of yours? I have yet to paint mine and was wondering should I paint it or should I try to mod it to a clear windshield as in cut it out and then find a piece of clear plastic.

If you ever drop by SLT, could you grab the tail motors for me? You are saying it comes in packs of 4?

Thanks.

The owner use " Matt Black" spray gun to paint the canopy, looook cool rite? hee hee. You should get it paint black as it is better than the stock white.

Talking abt the tail rotor. I am the guy posted on the rc group, my tail pinion keep slipping. After close examination, I realise the shaft of the motor I bought is abt 2mm shorter than those SHS supply. Guess this could be issue. I will go SLT again to source for longer shaft notor. If I come by, will call you to confirm the qty. The last motor I bought is $3/pc. I was thinking of getting Piccolo tail rotor assembly to replace it, don know is it better or not.

Yes Mingragonfly is by Feda Model. RTF abt $420. Common prob: Practice and Patience. Not enuf of either the two will not lead you to heli flying....Don buy heli on impluse. I don wish to see ppl start posting micro heli for sale at the selling thread. Keep reading and thinking...
