Default battery shops

I need another 3000mah pack niMH .... i got frm rotor hobby for $98.

Is there anywhere cheaper i can go to get the same type ?, I don't really go for packaging, brand just cheapest will do ...

Maybe with a discount or something cos rotor hobby sells at fixed price.

ninku,

The last time when i was in SG, i got some battery packs from Sim Lim Tower, ground floor. The shops are specialize in all kinds of batteries. They sell in individual cells, and you can tell them to solder for you. Its fairly cheap then getting from Hobby store.

I'm going to get mine again when i'm back in Feb. If you got info of cheaper batteries shop, do let me know.

hmm dat shop , i went there before...

I dun really like their charge for soldering the batteries together and coat it with plastic. quite high...

I bought 7 1000mah cells for $58...

anyway about the quality... they used rubber tape to cover some of the contacts ,
it melted when i used the pack once it overheated a little...

maybe i'm exaggerating but i don't think i'll visit the shop unless they sell cheap cells there...

No way am i going to ask them to solder the batts together...

Well, if you know where to get a good cheap, not to mention reliable batteries, why don't you tell us where can we get it. I'll be really interested to purchase one when i'm there.

Take note though.. the cells they sell are more or less different from the cells we use in our rigs.. certainly not for competition use... but daily usage will do juz fine..
