Default New Nova, Top and Rex Engines

Apparently these new engines come with a "balanced crank" and a longer heat sink. Anyone has tried them??

They have new sleeves and cases compared to the older engines. I am almost positive that the cranks are the same.

We have discuase this engines a while ago. It is the same as 13.76X14.04 engines. In my assumption, this is step to promote new management in Novarossi (Mario Rossi has gone to AXE Rossi company). In general nothing been changed. The difference is bore strock is 0.08 %. There are some possible chanages in case pressure and vacuum levels ( longer strock will create more pressure and deeper vacuum), but without real messuring difficult to make statments. There were changed outside mesurments for sleeves. In general speaking the same engine.

Novarossi gets the new engines first as they actually make them. They just hit the United States importer only a few days ago.

The "new" Rex Rer is not new. When they get the new engines, I am quite sure that they will have new model numbers.

The Rer12s3 is a great engine in itsself, just not anything new.

It is good, fast, and reliable. Is it worth 300 canadian. Depends on what else you can get for 300 canadian. That is a good price on that engine.

I wonder who will be the distributor this year? It seems Novarossi bounces from company to company here in the states.

The engine runs awesome. Not that I have much room to judge a motor and all .. (this being my first car)..
