www.rcunderground.net has just received a write up by Craig Hawkins, australia's 2004 NSW champion in the 235mm class. he has designed a totaly new car, the MIRAGE235mm. it is a combination of the serpent 710 tourer and the 835 serpent. it has totally dominated club days at moorebank, (one of sydney's best tracks) and has broken the lap record for 235mm at this track

Its a bit late....I forgot which one (ROAR, IFMAR or the Europe one) already dropped the 235mm class due to lack of support...I am afraid I have to sell my 1 year old 835 for like $150 with MS EVO4 7 port turbo....

Hmmm ... be interesting to see a video of this thing going throu' the paces!

some parts have been designed from scratch, by hand. ie chassis, topdeck rear swaybar etc. it's no different to what most manufacturers do anyway, ie hpi pro for shock geometry similar to tc3's

have you seen this car before? does it resemble any car you've seen before? it isn't just a 710 with 835 arms. anyway i'm not going to turn this into a flame thread i'm trying to bring attention to the mirage.
