I am not 100% sure but I was told the company is out of business!
I had a BMT891 1/8scale onroad like 10 years ago, it has 3 speed transmission too! Too bad I couldnt find parts for and I had to sell it!

their design is good (only up to 891) but material of parts is poor expecially arms. and parts are expensive.

Default BMT 1/10

I have quite a few BMT 1/10 2wds,i collected when every one was clearing out I think its the 931 or something. Was Lightning quick and infact still is . I ran it at the last years Australian nats and qualified 4th with little effort, not bad for a 8 year old car! final was washed out though, damn. I am preparing it for the nats this year, goal is to win, before i retire it.

BMT (Blitz Model Tecnica) still exists, the major importer, speedline in Austin tx. quit importing BMT and now imports Mugen. The BMT factory is in Monza Italy, the cars are still around and they even manufacture the new 1/8 scale rally game cars with the likes of Picco, Ofna and kyosho. I own BMT 934 vitesse (2wd 1/8) and an old 891 (4wd 1/8). There is also a line of 1-10 scale cars like the 931. The parts quality was pretty good actually, and the 3-speed tranny was pretty cool. The cars were the best for its time compared to Serpent Excels and picco RS600s. I really enjoy the cars,(esp. when it passes newer cars like veteqs on the track) its a shame parts are hard to come by. You can find new BMT parts overseas- www.modellismo.it The old site- www.speedline-rc.com

Default BMT parts

I ordered parts for some old BMT's I had from Speedline just last october, they had no problems fulfilling the order. I would bet they still have parts around.

I also ran into Mike Sappudo (sp) of Micco hobbies and I know he had tons of parts for sale at the great lakes challenge. He was selling his whole stock of BMT parts for some rediculous price.

good luck I had 3 of them and the worked pretty well, just took some time to get used to tuning.

Hey guys, don't know where you are getting the information from but I can confirm htat BMT shut shop around 5 years ago.

I was a sponsored driver in the early ninties using the BMT Active car. The one before the Pantera.
