Its not actually a Kyosho car. It was manufactured by Kyosho for a company called BMT.
This car is the BMT 891. That car is about 14yrs old now. I still have one.

BMT!
The car/company that changed everything.
I had a 891. Loved it but hated them "Rat Trap" springs.

In the US, your best bet would be Speedline. I believe they still have parts for them. BMT are no longer in existence. Kyosho wont have parts for them at all.

bmt or picco??
modellor ,i just have to ask a question, are you positive of this car being a bmt?i only ask because i sent a picture to this place that deals with discontinued rc car parts, and this is what they say,
Thank you for your recent e-mail.
Our consensus is that it is a Picco 1/10th vehicle that was distributed
in Japan by Kyosho in the early 90's.
im just alittle confused and want to be sure oif what it is so i can get a few parts for it.heres another pic

I'll back Turbo on this one... The wheels look like old school Picco wheels... BMT shocks were green plastic, and I remember that Picco's had A LOT of aluminum on them (are the arms aluminum, Blood? That's a sure Picco giveaway).
Wow, I remember those days... The arguments about who copied who... Of course both BMT and Picco were Kicking Serpent's Azz on the track back then, but Serpent's were much cheaper compared to the pricey($$$) Piccos and BMT's.
Now look who's "King of the Hill", although there's a lot of worthy competition out there.

As far as parts go Blood, you might want to try Paris Racing, since they may have been the Picco distributor going that far back...

Its gonna be tough to find parts for an earlier rs600 Compact.
Ive stumbled upon this site many times in the past...Never ordered from them but its the only place with Picco RS600's...They show a newer version of your car on the site...perhaps some parts will still fit on your car.

It is indeed and RS600 Compact and last I heard the sole stockpile of parts of that car went to http://www.tracksideparts.com/
