Default 2007 Mid-NorthCoast Outlaw Titles

The 2006 MNC Outlaw was a great success so we are doing it again in 2007 on August 24,25 and 26 providing it's not a major clash with other events. The 24th will be for Friday night pratice, Sat 25th will be morning practice with qualifying in the afternoon and Sunday the 26th will be the last 2 rounds of qualifying and Finals. It has been suggested that we make a few slight changes such as running the standard johnson 540 and bushes only for Stock although I prefer to allow 200mm cars in electric as we have several drivers running Colt cars which are 200mm standard. I appreciate all and any feedback and hopefully we can get some great Sponsorship again, we already have Eagle Boys Toormina for the Trophies.
I have prepared a Entry Click and you can visit the link on my signature for pics of track etc.
Regards Daniel

Danny, last year the race was spot on for everybody, all took something away in goodies, a few lucky with trophies and goodies. For anyone that has not been to the Coffs track, it is something unusual as it has a up hill with a tight turn which is modelled on the Bathurst dipper. If you decide to go it will be one of the best for the year, Danny will make sure of that. Put me down for a spot, just make sure the food is as good from the Waitress !!!!!!!

Dani,

Count the boys from Tamworth in again this year.

We raced last year and would have to say it was possible the friendliest and best event we went to.

Track was unusual but great to race on.
Great food and club members.
Evan had fire works after the racing.

Can not wait to race again.

Hey thanks for all the feedback, and so far so good. I will looking for set of AMB RC Transponders to beg borrow or hire so if anyone knows of a set then we can cater for the personal transponders again. We used the Gold Coasts set last year but I think they may be in use full time these days.
P.S Adam your stock record still stands (only just) as do the 540, Nitro Tourer Pullstart and Pro and Russell your 26 laper has been broken by about 2 seconds. So lets see what we can do this year..
Cheers Dan

Default DONT GO

i went last year and would never go again, the rules are set to suite there mates, in the drivers meeting he said there will be no delay's for nobody so what happens in the final a restart for his mate. to make it worse they put me in the pullstart class when i drive nitro tourer pro and i was denyed 3rd place because the transponder lap counter shut down and they knew that i had 3rd place

Kanea6, if you had those problems, did you say anything, or did you say "nufin to nobody", i cant recall you saying anyhting, from memory you were pitted next to race control, i am sure that if you said something Danny would have done something, maybe sour grapes. I know you came from Sydney, are rules as read in the drivers meeting broken in Sydney for "there" (sic) mates, i think so. Every race held has a mate of a mate doing the race control, so dont bag out something if you didnt like it. There is plenty of things in life people dont like, .............oh................one other thing, if you dont want to go, F%^$#$ dont go

Hi Kanea6 I would like to clear the air here, from memory you either entered into the pullstart class or were placed there by mistake, once the error was relized your laps were transferred over to you name in the Pro class. The only race that had a restart was due to an error and not for a mate. I also remember that your complaint on the day was due to some drivers not competing in all of the qualifiers which is not mandatory, none of the other things you mention here. I recall no probs with the transponders. I'm sorry mate if you didn't like it and felt hard done by, but honestly trying to put it down is not contstructive in any way. I also ask to close this topic and lets move on.
For your info on my web is a copy of the finals if you would like to check the results..
Regards Dan

Cool Outlaw tittle 2007

Hi Danny,

It's Chris from the Gold Coast club,

You can court me in again for this year.

As may or may not know I run both the Gas on road day's and the off road's now.

I think I can get the time off for good behaviour and race at this event, and if the club is not racing on this weekend I will have a talk to Peter and see if I bring the clubs transponder's again for use for this event.

I had a great time last year and made some new friends and would like to catch up with them again.
