I have the muchmore and with this unit if you disconnect the power with the pack in you will blow the unit, i like the idea of having the AA batteries in and not a power unit, now the numbers on the photo that pack look real nice how about you let a me get that one, lol.

Clicked on the link, have a few questions:

1) How quickly can it dump a pack after a run?

2) Does it have a 5.4 cutoff?

3) Can you select a value for a cutoff per cell? 0.7 or 0.9 for example

Any others specs that you can post about it Jeff would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think in the first post Jeff stated that it has adjustable cut-off 0.2V-1.0 per cell. So yes when you adjust the cutoff to 0.9/cell that is 5.4V

No you don't. The much more only had a problem when you connect the battery in reverse without power.

How long does the 30amp pulse discharge take? If it is a Dyna Pulse rate than this unit does not do much for the cells.

I dunno, I have experienced great results with my packs using the Dynapulse, it takes a while, but my packs have improved since I started using it, and I imagine being able to do each cell individually will be of even greater benefit.

Ok then try putting a fully charge pack in and then disconnect the power supply and see what happen.

I've had packs in my CTX correctly when the power went out and have had no problems whatsoever. As far as I've heard its only when you have the pack in wrong.

I saw this Trinity discharger last week and it looks really good. Seemed to be working fine too.

I have done that. I have also been at races where the circuit breaker opened and lost power. Mine still works just as good as day 1.

You may have had a defective unit or some other problem.

Not really, I don't run enough to declare my packs as anything beyond "Previously Owned, and IB certified"
