Very interesting move on Losi's part. I was expecting a 5ive-T converted to electric, using all the bits from the DBXL-E...but this looks like a 1/6 scale version of the current Baja Rey.

Maybe this means a 1/6 Rock Rey in the future? One can only hope.

I know this may sound stupid but here it goes! What does the Rey mean or stand for in the names Baja Rey and Rock Rey? Lol! It's driving me nuts trying to figure it out.

Doesn't "Rey" mean "King" in Spanish? I only know English/German, so I'm guessing here.

Yep it means king in Spanish which might be the reason. I don't know of anyone named Rey in the racing scene unless its a nickname.

It’s definitely on the possible list. But I’ve gotta make some decisions about current large scales. Price is fair to me. I’ll let others be the lab rats for Losi. Hope this won’t follow the 1/10 and have the rear diff housing problems.

To go along with above, I think that they need to make the suspension more supple. They way this bonces around is like the FG Marder buggies of the 80'S

That's because it's a solid rear axle. I'm sure it could be improved but it will never handle as good as an independent rear suspension. The solid rear axle just helps to make it look scale or more "real". In the end it would actually work better with IRS.

this is the truck i have been waiting for. My daughter and I have toyed with the idea of building a 5T or King X2 brushless but the cost is just so high. Now we can do what we did with our two Slash's and XXL2E- run them until they break and buy better parts to replace the broken parts and do it in a BIG, scale truck - just what I want.

Now I have the desire to actually sell the slash's with this bad boy on the market.
