Just note that these tires are aproximately 15mm larger diameter than the 1/8 gt tires , they are almost the same diameter with 1/8 buggy tires

For this reason you need to trim the body for the larger wheels.
Just realized I have one of your motor mounts and it's great!

Guys I need a soldering iron. Someone said the name of a reasonablely priced one, can't find his post. I was looking at the Weller WLC100. 5-40a and it cost $45, is that good for RC needs? Thanks

I recently sold mine after wrecking it. At the time it was the world's fastest Kyosho at 143 mph. I ran stock diff fluids.

Street drag racing is a little different... Big ass power and trying to keep it straight... Very hard but, fun as hell

In other words no running the stock body? A scalpel 300m or buggy body is needed? Looks a lot like rc hornet adapters.

If you want to do a lot of high speed runs or drag racing. a lot of guys put a small heading lock gyro in there 8th scale gt cars. It makes It more easier to control when the car Is barreling down the street over 100 mph.

Default Xo1 vs inferno?

Ummm because the inferno is a far better platform in engineering and far greater stability and speeds can be accomplished. The xo1 is just a stretched traxxas slash. Woohoo. I Have an 8a slash that will handle better than an xo1. They are difficult to control and keep grounded. Lots of reasons why besides the kyosho is an awesome 1/8 scale car. And again there is far more tou can do with the kyosho.
